There is a barbie puzzle SEL $1.49 scanning at 39p. They are a small box, like playing cards on the hanging strips in toy section.
I also managed to grab one thats for boys a car.

Had to drive through Sl*ugh today so popped into the Tesco Extra. They had a whole strip of Playdoh. I only took 2 - scanned at 20p. HTH :)

Ohhh, do I have competition for that store? It's the easiest Xtra for me to get to (though I think Brackn*ll might be closer technically) I haven't bought any of the playdoh from there as I don't really need it, did get some Surf yesterday though ;)

  • I know this isn't 1p, but a good price. Finish dishwasher salt in a bag marked up at 35p. It had a yellow label and was with all the other dishwasher salt. I don't know if this is available in other stores. Hope someone has some luck with this. Even if you don't have a dishwasher it's great for clearing ice in the winter.

Still 88p in both the Poole stores today but managed to get the instant sachet for 5p at Fleetsbridge. Was still few on top shelf but careful as semolina sachets were in same row and picked up a few by mistake. Luckily noticed before I bought them. :D

Also both Poole stores have the wholewheat penne 22p. :)

Did you scan the chocolate custard ? I bought 13 packs at D1SS the SEL said 88p but it scanned at 5p on 27/8 (I've been away ). Also I scanned the pizza flavoured tortellini in N0rwich (A140) on 26th and it was full price. They had lots of mini meals beans and sausages and mini meals ravioli which were 18p.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

Speaking of the mini meals - the BBQ beans ones are actually quite nice, don't normally like BBQ flavour stuff that much but had a tin the other night - very agreeable :D

I got 2 packs of the custard today in Bloomfields. The SEL was there, the shelf was empty but the box of semolina had a sachet which didn't have writing at the top of the pack (something to do with perfect roast potatoes). Turns out there were 2 lonely packs waiting for me.

As for the chocolate custard, the SEL said 88p and it scanned at that in the Extra I tried at the weekend.
