But at least we are not harming anyone with our bargain buys and you have to admit it gives us a little lift when things are bad.....my 16 year old is after one of the playdo thingys that I got yesterday and sons girlfriend aged 21 was quite taken with them, all ahh and ooh.
Your 16 year old son has a 21 year old girlfriend?0 -

granted, not a 1p item but the Tesco Diet Almond flavour coke was 70-odd pence a few weeks ago (was 54p before price increase) today SEL was 28p a bottle. I drink loads of the stuff so great deal for me. Fiery coke was also the same price.0

That was at about 4:30 this afternoon, my closest store is Newtownabbey but for some mad reason I have come to truly despise the place!Total debt £20,000 Northern Rock loan:eek:

Decided to go for some of the black eye beans @ 10p. Got 4 cans, plenty left in L@nark. Even though the name freaks me out and they'll be looking at me when I put them in a stew / soup!!:rotfl:
Thought I'd check and see if the squeezy cheese had been re-stocked, and it had!! Only 1 wee bottle, but better in my cupboard than being lonely on the shelf!!
Also got Branston Relish: Tomato, curry spices & hot peri peri flavour 380g, RTC from £1.54 to 38p!!:j (Have the ice cubes ready if you're getting this one)
Looks just like this one:

No no no! Never drink water with anything hot or spicy as it only makes it worse.0 -
There was an offer on a trampoline in tesco last weekend. It was a 4 ft diameter trampoline designed for toddlers with a net going all of the way around. At £60 I thought it was a bargain so decided to buy for my son.
When I got to the checkout is scanned through at £30!!!
Happy days!0 -
My eyes did the same when she contacted me to say she'd found some Oilatum in Superdrug that I'd been looking for for my DS. She wouldn't take any money for them and posted them to me. Needless to say when a bargain Lego offer came up for Sainsburys, I got my folks to get some for her.
Lets all make her blush as she really is the most wonderful person. We've been emailing over the last few weeks and she's been a rock to me. I honestly feel like I've got a new friend even though we've not met yet.
Everyone, thank you so much for your kind comments, now you have me cryingI try and treat others the way I'd like to be treated and so far it's worked out very nicely
Now, enough of making me blush - especially you Caz
Just spotted a few things in Mr T not 1p but might help some:
Ambrosia Devon Custard Tetra Pack 500g reducted to 39p - barcode: 5000354800221. The SEL says 39p and scanning at that.
Schwartz Mexican Jalapeno & Coriander Fajitas Recipe Mix in the RTC section at 15p. Good for store cupboard stock up in case your spices run out - like mind did!

Hi neveranymoney, it's my local too but you never find me in it, they always seem to be on the ball, apart from that one time with the glitch on the Tesco teabags. I managed to get a year's supply for me AND my mum :rotfl::rotfl:DFW Nerd no: 1490 -
Never managed the tea bags, I am at the Mercy of my put upon dh and his driving. I have lost count of the wild goose chases to Tesco that I've trailed the poor man on!Total debt £20,000 Northern Rock loan:eek:
