I don't know where to post this, so I'm sure the 1p crowd will be interested.
    I found a 1p item in M & S Colney fields today by accident.
Blue circular gift tags marked down to 25p from 50p, scanned at 1p. I then bought the last 4 packs. The are also stamped with an 's' in a circle the only bits on that sale shelf that were - may mean something

Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

    Hiya :)

I don't think this has been mentioned before so here goes...

Natural cat - cat toy containing natural catnip 1p

it's like a long wooden wand with braided rope hanging down with brown feathers on the end.

I found these aaages ago, around easter time, before I became a member of mse and bought a few. I'd forgotten to check if there were still any left when I saw one today and on the off chance price checked it - and yep - STILL 1p! So there is one left on the shelf for a lucky cat owner in wa!kden :j My mum's cats love playing with them so definately worth looking out for if you own cats :)

    Thanks :j

Although I live in Cambridgeshire I was visiting family and took a look round Walkden Extra. So much nicer and bigger than our local. I found the cat toy as you'd described, was well chuffed, my first 1p item. No tomato puree left yesterday but quite a few olives at 16p and 22p. Had been hoping for a dtd on a phone but they all seemed to be priced correctly. Back home now, how I miss the computer. All I had to catch up with mse was my phone with the tiniest screen. I was getting withdrawal !!!!

Thanks again to all that post, we make the trip up every 6 weeks or so. Will be making time for a T's fix each time. Looking forward to the new one opening in Farnworth too. It was so helpful knowing where the scanners were aswell.:)
