    Evening all!

I decided to go to Tesco today for a little OOD SEL hunt, I managed to find the twin pack of Panasonic phones, completely nowhere near their SEL, but with a bit of hunting managed to find one, was walking down the aisle to go to a price checker when I saw a Canon printer, think it was something like MP45 (just looked on Tesco Direct, its the MP495), not the photo one that was posted previously, but a wireless printer (which I am after btw). So not having enough cash on me to cover the initial overcharge of both items, I put the phones back and went to price check the printer. The SEL said better that half price £39.99 ish, so original price was I think £90, but scanned at £39.99 :(.
What I was wondering was if between us all we could get it pricechecked each day to see if it goes up while the SEL states the lower price, the date on the SEL was 12/07/11.
Also could anybody please tell me if the phones are scanning at full price as I never had chance to check them. TIA
On the upside though I did manage to get 2 finest choc puds, the first time ever they had been at my store.:j
Also, how would you lovely peeps explain why you didn't notice being charged more than twice what you were expecting to pay when you are claiming your DTD, coz I'm absolutely petrified that if I go for the phones and they ask me why I didn't notice when the SA asked me for £40 more than I was expecting to pay. I always pay in cash, so I can't say that I didn't hear and jsut handed my card over, just wondering what the best excuse is lol

I saw that same printer aswell with expired SEL but still scanned at lower price also.

I also saw Go cat 375g boxes BOGOF for £1.19 with SEL expires 12/07/2011, but I had a look online @ tesco.com on my phone and it had them on offer BOGOF from 13/07/2011 ...so some offers get extended it seems ...and can't check on pricechecker if BOGOF still lol
  • lots of stripy glasses with 4 for £3 stickers on in the Bridgend Tesco this evening.

I also found in Llantristant tesco bone china 12 dinner set with an old (may) SEL for £38 went through at £60  plus I used a £5 off voucher. :j no glasses here :(

The glasses are the business. Just managed to nab 8. They look fantastic and are very heavy, thick glass. Quite robust.

Wouldn't mind another 4 for breakage replacements. Will keep my peepers open..... ;)

Just 4? I'm trying to curb my addiction for 4 glasses for £1 (or 96p) and so far I've stopped at 24 of each!

Errr not really and it'll be even less now me & OH have separated. I do have 2 kids though so I know between them and dishwasher wear & tear, that number of glasses will dwindle over the years but will have cost me only £12 which you can't say no to!

Just wondering what price this printer sometimes scans at and what the actual price of the printer is. I need a printer!

    TIA
