Sorry for consecutive off topic posts, but I replied to Ikennett before I caught up on the thread out of sheer relief! Seriously, I was thinking of getting out of bed, getting dressed and hanging out by the toiletries department waiting for someone with a yellow postit note to come along and explain that it might have been a mistake!
!!!!!! is the celebrate bashing about? Completely unnecessary and completely out of order! You might have a think skin celebrate, but it looks like I'm sensitive enough for both of us. That really got to me. Seriously Padington, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all!
Now, I'm going to single out czerniacha. well done! your finds made my dayGood on ya! You never know, between us might might manage to make a tiny dent in Tescos billions of profit and subsequently stop them taking over the world McDonald's style!

I'm so pleased it wasn't a waste of time for you! I was really, really worried that you were going to end up with loads of full price razors and a red face at cs!
For future reference, the scanners are in men's clothing and bedding (that's two scanners, not a really strange tesco aisle!) neither of them work though. If you could find a plug next time you're in there though...?
Hmm.... there were easily 40+ razors there when I left, and lots of yellow sels. I think maybe someones lurking..........:D
As for the paxo, we're vegetarians so unless someone can come up with an inventive way of stuffing quorn, you're welcome to it
40 packs?! I hope I wasn't looking in the wrong place.. Was looking where all the other mens razors were and also looked on the ends. There was a massive gap on one shelf with no label there so assumed thats where it had been? Ah well, all was not lost, i nipped down to Culverhouse Cross and got some 25p Superdad socksand also a top i wanted in the last sale which didnt have my size before but did yesterday and it was half price. woohoo.

Hi guys just wondering if 1p items also scan 1p in express stores? i know in my local express prices are different from the extra store so just wondered.
Thanks
Sometimes they do, I was lucky with the Cadbury Creme Egg bags.
And there was wrapping paper that was 1p while back only in Express stores but now this has gone back to full price.0 -
I think the way people on this thread talk about Tesco employees would put them off commenting on here and giving heads up to what is going to 1p. I have in the past said that stuff would be going to 1p but am thinking of not doing in the future due to the abuse staff get,
End of rant
To be fair, most, if not all of the "abuse" given here is justified.
A chatty, smiley, SA who suddenly purses her lips and glowers when confronted by some coupons or vouchers was the original definition of Trout as I remember it (from trout pout). It is Tesco policy to accept coupons and vouchers - why should a customer be glared at with suspicion when doing their shopping - it's hardly good customer service. If they hand the SA an incorrect/invalid voucher/coupon then a smile and "sorry we can't take that" is all it needs. No need to get your knickers in a twist and make judgemental comments like "they should stop this" or "she's always in here using coupons".
No doubt you'll say that these kinds of SA are few and far between, but the collective postings here would suggest it's something the environment in T's encourages (but I've read many comments about pleasant SA's too).
It also seems to be something peculiar to Tesco that their staff are regularly misinformed or instructed to make up lies about Tesco policy (or again T attracts a certain type of person). A poster was told catagorically by a supervisor that DTD ended this weekend. That's obviously a big fat lie! So where did it come from?
What about those CSA's who deny you dtd unless you ask for it specifically? Where's the customer service there?
If you work for Tesco and have a problem with their policy take it up with your line manager, NOT THE CUSTOMER!!
So, I think I speak for the majority here (please correct me if wrong) Tesco staff who do their job without being judgemental of customers (to our faces - what you do in the canteen is your business) and don't tell us lies about T policy are more than welcome here! Maybe we can all learn new ways to save money at Tesco?
It's only a game

As I mentioned before some of my relatives work for MrT and they are terrified of the cs staff, one even goes to a different store as the ones in hers are, to quote her " especially trained in aggression" and seem to have done a special "anti customer service" course.0

What a lot of fun you lot have been having in my absence.
There were quite a few boxes of Paxo 20p 85g boxes at Tower Park yesterday evening. Thanks to whoever posted this, I will go back and find you and add my thanks.
Afraid I have been lurking last few days, don't know what has hit me with eldest 2 DDs at home for summer and OH now home half the week as redundant from half his job. Have had to resort to snatched views on here, fighting for computer time.
Also OH has had more time to notice my stashes around the house so we have been having a major reorganise. Loads of stuff gone into storage in the loft (shame no glitch on storage boxes had to pay full price ). Anyway have now managed to put 2 big cardboard boxes (Boots and Bodyshop stashes) in bottom of a cupboard out of sight. Now to make room for my Tesco bargains. Even though income has been halved I feel fairly confident we will manage with the help of all my friends here. (Hope you don't mind me calling you that!) :A
Also can confirm that the multibuy on the whoopsied tapas is still working, got paid to take 6 packs away.
And Wool27 there is another scanner at Fleetsbridge near the tills at the end of one of the tinned food aisle.0 -
