Dont think u'll find anymore of the BBQs guys - Head Office sent a list of items to stores last night that had been incorrectly priced including the BBQ and a flymo :-(

Apparently they did the same regarding the Cadbury's Roses but they were still available at a penny for a while afterwards.

    Afternoon all,

Looked for the BBQ's but no joy here, however I did find....wait for it....

    A Lawnmower........:j:j:j

Only two instore and no SEL to be seen... Bingo I thought, heart racing took it over to a till and asked for a price check..

    Sadly scanned at £25......! :o

FYI though its the Flymo "Mow n Vac 28" online prices are around the £55-£65 so still cheap if you need one

Had to do some normal shopping, got One Dove and One Dr Pepper, free with vouchers. My local has a world foods isle and they had packs of noodles on offer, chow main or veg for 29p each or 5 for £1..

Also got 3 lawn foods, SEL stated 3 for 2 or £1 each.. didn't get the 3 for 2 so £2 back DTD, this was then duly reinvested for tonight's lotto.. I wouldn't advise any of you guys doing the lotto tonight as im winning it so you'll be wasting your dosh. However when I win I'll be getting the drinks and BBQ's in for a good old MSE party....all welcome..:beer::beer:

Don't remove or play with the SEL! Could get you into trouble and accused of swapping them. Remember that from R & R days!

If the barcode is on the SEL - I can't remember? - then you could just take a picture of the barcode with a camera phone and hold it up to the aisle scanner, right? Anyone tried this?

:rotfl:Don't worry I won't, I think it was an overcited moment of madness last night when it was silly hour on the thread(but great fun)

I was just thinking, perhaps they should train T's staff to spot us!!! When I see a glitch I usually march into T's and it's so obvious I'm on a mission, usually with a piece of yellow postit in my hand with numbers scribbled on:rotfl:When I'm doing "normal" shopping I stroll in quite nonchalantly, and why when I'm on a mission do I avoid eye contact with the security guard that's always at the door?

Thats me! right down to the yellow post it notes!(OH 'borrows' them from work :D) Maybe we shouldn't be saying this on the thread, spies everywhere. Next time I'm in Tesco's I bet I get stopped by a security gaurd saying
" 'scuse me madam, you can't take that in there"
Me: "What? this piece of paper?"
Him "'s yellow. Been told to keep my eye out for yellow".

BBQs scanning at £25 in Aberdeen Danestone.

    Didn't see any Flymo lawnmowers.

Got 3 boxes of chocolate Weetabix at £1 each but are 3 for 2 and they have a 50p off coupon on the back of them.

BBQs back up to £25 in HUddersfield Rd Tescos ~ I left 2 on the shelf last night and they were still there but had been moved to the front so I guess someone else had price checked them before me!!!!!
Should I have cleared the shelf ;last night hmmmmmm???

Out of date SEL if anyone is interested
Next to the gas BBQ's is a 2 ring gas camping stove
SEL says 1/3 off £50 down to £33
Scans at £50 so after DTD you could get this for £17 ish
    Offer ended in June
At least 2 left on the shelf !!

For those of you in Thanet, at Westwood Cross they have the socks that I think have been mentioned here.

The 'super dad' and 'super grandad' socks are on a strip with homer simpson socks and have the label of £2.50 on. They are with the mens pants section and could easily be missed if not looking specifically for them.

I didn't take any or take them to counter to check price though as I don't need them so left them for others, so you'll have to see if they come up cheap still.

Hope this helps someone get a bargin :)
