    I've been wondering about the scanner and the tills being in line. Prime example .....

    Today there were hoses reduced with the yellow labels. The labels said £12 to £6 but the barcode had been inked out and some of the numbers scored out as well. I wondered what would happen as not all the barcode on the whoopsie label was covered but it scanned at £2.50 as per SEL. Got to SS and it finally (after scanning the whoopsie and the original barcode which had been partially exposed numerous times) scanned at £6. I don't know how as I'm fairly sure it was the yellow label it worked on. Don't really care as a £14 DTD so £2 profit and 2 lots of hose (15m + accessories in case anyone is interested).

    I don't know what to do! I can get to tesco now, but none of the scanners work in store! I really don't want to pay £25 for a BBQ!

    Mahri, go to a self serve checkout and see what they scan at. You can always say you thought they were twenty quid and not whatever they are if not 50p. it's got to be worth a punt.

    Yes, go on Mahri, do that. You know it makes sense!

    Get me one too if they are 50p then I'll go to Tesco Ystrad Mynach and pick you up 50p worth of nappy sacks in exchange! I can't be fairer than that!
