1p finds at Tesco thread

You are not the only one that does not get the bargains. However, generally I won't make a special trip in the hope of bargains, I just pop in when I'm on route to somewhere else.

However I did make a special trip last week( hoping to get a mouse) and did get my first 1p item last week, 1 lonely box of brazils sitting on the shelf. Also got a mop reduced to £1.62.

I don't expect to get anymore bargains though as I have spotted a contender for my local stores on this thread and also for the store I pass sometimes.

Don't say that:( I have quite a few MSE'ers that use my stores but I still manage to get 1p bargains and glitches, A lot of it's down to luck I think:)

Just back from Mr t, got 12 choc custard and the juget jug, unfortunately the jug scanned at £1.
Oh well, happy with my custard, used the helpful advice of 'look up' as there were none on the shelf

Am off to T's again on the hunt for Choccie custard, it's on my list and next to chocolate custard I have written LOOK UP,anyone finding my list will think I'm mad!

Tesco Mint Thins - 200g box Only 1p @ Tesco Express

Just went in my local Tesco Express & noticed the staff stocking up on these - Had a look, shelf edge ticket said 1p (normal white ticket, not in clearance section or anything).

Probably store specific but who knows... worth a look in your local & post back.

In date > March 2012

Sorry if already posted but the Duck bath thermometer is now £1.95, still a bargain, IMHO, but not 1p!

I have scrolled through a large number of pages and looked on the pennyitems website but couldnt see the details of the Frozen puddings that are coming up for 87p. Does anyone know the details and also whether they are still going through for this price.

I know this isnt technically a penny item but as I'm popping down later to look again for the mouse and a few other bits I thought I would check while I was there....

anyone else have the issue that the checkout assistant says 'its a glitch I cant sell you that?!'

I had some Olive Oil for 25p and it was labelled that but they would not sell me it?
