You need to look harder then Jemb and sorry for being blunt, but stop whining! :o

I live in West Yorkshire and have made a "considerable" amount from DTD, I have had close to 300 1p items (mostly Easter stuff) and have enough pasta sauce, bake , pasta , tuna and finish for the next 5 years. This is without the stuff from in-store DTD and the baking glitch (I missed the gardening one). :j

By the way, I also work 5 days, play 40+ hours a week sponsored poker and have 5 kids to look after. It is possible, the bargains are available, you just have to be determined.

Oh, and there is still money to be made at TD, I won/t go into it, but it's possible. Good luck everyone at the [STRIKE]tables [/STRIKE]tills. :rotfl:

What is the point of apologising if you then carry on doing it? Doesn't sound as though you are in the slightest bit sorry to me

Okeydokey, all comments noted, pretty much everyone for themselves. I didn't want to sound like I was having a go in my previous post, just frustrated.

I will endeavour, it is a bit addictive, checking the forum and battling round t's in the quest for a bargain.

Fingers crossed for some cheap deals for everyone, happy hunting 

I haven't managed any 1p finds but have managed to stock up on the cheaper items such as 20p pasta sauces etc and now the superdrug bargains. It does take determination but I look on it as a game. Some you win some you don't;)

Am certainly interested in your last comment.

So true, it's a game some you win and some you lose. I just used to read this forum and never posted and to be honest it took me a good 6 months before I managed to find a 1p item. It takes sheer dedication most of the time.My keys are usually ready by the front door to get in the car as soon as a 1p or glitch is posted. I have been known to visit T's 4 times in a day:rotfl:,extreme I know and impossible for some, but I work from home so am my own boss and able to do it.I did get the mouse on Saturday(Well 3 !!!) But I was out of the door the minute it was posted on here.I was knackered, didnt want to go, but the buzz I got when driving home was worth it. I got 3 because we have enough computers here to use them all and if their's a lot of something on the shelf that I will use I do take it, BUT I do sometimes see another MSE'er in my local T's and we swap tips and if I was in at the same time as her I would happily share my "spoils":rotfl: I am lucky in that I have about 5 T's in my area so if I don't find what I want in one I'll try another. It takes dedication and a certain amount of "addiction":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Keep looking you will be lucky eventually.
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Sadly not Chilli nuts, Seabrooks crisps or teabags with the correct barcode in my local tesco.

I did however stock up on 2 more jars of 20p pasta sauce, 8 cans of Branston beans (packs of 4 bogof), a bottle of Lenor (the one that is basically free with a £1 voucher) and some freezer bags all for the sum of £3.03 so I'm satisfied. Might stock up on some more pasta sauce as I do use this a lot and I quite like it - and also the beans as they are my fav.

May I ask what the Harpic offer was? Kinda missed that dipping in and out of the thread. Think I also missed out on the Roses deal but overall it's prob better for the waistline.

Got a few bits in my local Superdrug today too (though not everything I was hoping for)....back tomorrow though

I agree, I think we were only asking what people thought. Would like to leave with my head intact!

Does anyone know if the roses and harpic are anywhere at 1p still in west yorks? I only actually want what we can put in cupboards, and something that satisfies ie I feel a little smug having three boxes of tea bags. I'm prob going to get my head ripped off and thrown to the trolls here, but, I understand why people giving to charity family etc buy multiples, but when your buying 60,70 even 100 of the product because it's on at 1p don't you think it's a bit mean? We're all after a bargain, and some of us can't get anything because it gets completely cleared out! I really couldn't justify buying 100 boxes of tea bags to say well it only cost me £1. Does anyone else think this or am I dancing by myself here?

i think this is a fair point, as i often wonder if you are purposely not saying where they find stuff whereas i do so everyone knows where stuff is or save a trip.

i went into clay x got stuff with coupons but no harpic or roses (forgot abougt price c hnge) got 10 boxes of chocolate custard.:T
went to alfreton no custard or harpics.

first coupon expierencer got doves deodrant, bagels, yazoos etc.

Its fresh milk, but it comes in a bag rather than a bottle or a carton, ideal is to cut back on packaging and empty the bag into the jug
Thanks for that, r the jugs with the milk?
