you're right though...it is an addiction.

the amount of 1p items i've bought over the past 6 months is unbelieveable.

I'm the same just got back from my local and got 17 roses and 10 of the sweetcorn and I also found two packs of the Lindt eggs they were defnitely not there yesterday!!!!! I chanced going through the normal tills and the friendly sa didn't bat an eyelid!!!.....won't be up in Bangor till end of next week... so the Roses are all yours xxxx I also left somein Porthmadog for someone... however people were eyeing me up putting 17 roses in my basket and also helped themselves

You are soooooooooo right!

My heart was still racing hours after I hauled that Cadburys and after eights mountain! It was just sat there in a pile on the carpet (as in my photo!) with me grinning at it and the kids insanely (and gleefully) munching away!

In between hauls at the various s o t stores, I was bouncing in my car seat as I drove, itching for the next discovery.
It was just the best!

I am just so disappointed that the other stores haven't yielded the same results for others
... Will try harder!

Well, I would like to report a very successful 1p shopping trip.

However, I can't. Literally no 1p bargains in my local Mr T's (except one small one that I didn't even find!). I even took my 10 year old ds to help me hunt for the elusive bargains. he found one 1p Lindt egg and then promptly claimed it as he was the one who had spotted it!
I got a 75p Hannah Montana mini keyboard for my dd's Christmas stocking - well I might as well start early!
Other than that, nuffin', nada, zilch!

Will keep up the search and will never surrender!

Thanks to everyone who contributes to this thread. I keep scanning random items in my local Mr T's, but haven't found a glitch yet. Live in hope though! xx

Were the lint eggs with all the other sweets and chocolates? They are my favourites but never found any but will keep looking!

I felt a bit self conscious adding so many roses to my basket but fortunately I had other shopping to cover them with and when I scanned them I'd scan a few roses, then a couple of something else then a few roses just so if anyone was watching they wouldn't see that I was scanning loads of roses!

I wonder how long till all he fathers day stuff is 1p?

Exactly the same! People were given me the strangest looks when I had a whole basket of Roses, especially as I saw some at the back of the bottom shelf and I was literally on the floor trying to get them out. Didnt help that I have a dodgy knee and can't kneel on it, so one leg bent and one stuck out straight in the middle of the aisle!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

One box of Roses, it was the last one, I was so excited
Thought I'd found a box of the Koko truffles but when I turned it round it had a yellow reduced sticker over the original barcode .
There was no sign of anything else, though I didn't have much time to look properply. This was in Inverness btw
