An idea and an apology

The apology in case it's been mention before, or in case it's in the wrong forum or place. But.....
An idea for someone to take to the Dragon's den, surely it would be a winner....
It is such a shame that there is not a "compare the muskrat" for everyday products, where you can just key in the product you want, like Bread, Milk, Eggs, Sugar etc and the results show up for all supermarkets and what the comparisons are. I know there is that supermarket one (I think run by Asda) but they only cover four supermarkets, and you don't get the comparison on the same page, they certainly don't mention Farm Foods, Lidl, Aldi, Neto, Costcutter, Coop, etc perhaps a challenge for one of the whiz kid techno people out there.

You can only do this if the supermarket does online shopping, https://www.mysupermarket.com checks Tesco, Sainsbury's, ASDA & Ocado(/Waitrose)
TBH, I think the dragons would LAUGH at you if you went in with that idea!

mysupermarket does exactly what the OP is asking for but without lidl etc (which the op mentioned) and the reason they dont compare aldi,lidl etc is because they dont do home delivery.

I think the reason is that aldi,lidl,morrisons etc don't pay commission to mysupermarket etc

It's a chicken and egg thing. You can't shop online with them, so mysupermarket can't get the prices to compare, so there's no point in those supermarkets paying anyone commission.0
