Why would you want a new bank account? Why not just continue to use the one you've got, assuming you've got one. Or you can have your money paid in and out of someone else's bank account as many people who can't get their own account do. Yes, you can stay off radar if you want, just don't register for anything for yourself and anything you want get someone else to register in their name and then let you use it which for most things is legal. And you've only got to stay on the run for another 2.5 years and then that's it, the debts are statute barred as long as you haven't acknowledged them for 6 years. And if after that they actually find you and ask you to pay you can either ignore it or say tough, spin on it, it's more than 6 years unacknowledged so statute barred so get lost. Which is quite amazing, if you think about it. In many countries they fling you in prison and abuse you and oppress you severely and they used to in this country but now it's perfectly legal just to flip them off.0

They lenders could easily present a UK court order in Ireland and request enforcement.
Only Northern Ireland, as that is part of the UK.
And then internationally only Canada and Germany have agreements to allow the enforcement of court orders across the border. Ireland is not one of them, so you could find out their for debts to go statute barred if their is no CCJ.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
It doesnt matter weather they find you or not really - they'd have no legal power to obtain any money off you anyway, only a county court has this power.
The tracing systems can be very complex, and it's amazing how these things catch up with you.
As for your 'legal power' argument, it is TOTALLY flawed.
For £50K of debt, these companies will be literally kicking the door in to get the money (once a CCJ is in place, which is highly likely for that sum).
To give the OP a false sense of well-being on this one, is completely irresponsible from you.0 -

I agree, I have no love for this gang of shysters, CRAs and DCAs are chancers and sometimes they border on the fringes of the law but the systems they run are bang up to date, complex and very advanced.
The only thing that slightly dulls those systems are the humans in charge of them.
It's getting very very hard to stay of radar but it could be done if you're determined and careful enough. Even signing up for say a Nectar card will bring you back into the spotlight

As it is a civil dispute, a UK lender would be entitled under EU law to file suit in an Irish court and present the UK judgement for enforcement.
It's nothing specific to Canada or Germany.0
