Excellent advice I got 2 radiohead albums (Kid A and Amnesiac) for £1.25 per Cd (inc. postage) from Amazon a couple of weeks ago.

always amazes me that people don't think of this. Gotta say I think MP3's by and large are a rip off.

You could even go one further and see if your local library has any of these CD's pay 50p or whatever to borrow them and rip them.

ETA: I've looked at a few of these greatest hits, and some of them are greatest hits - live. Not quite the same thing.
