Can't tell you how I misread that :rotfl: It took 3 attempts ;)

    So today I have/will:
    • taken Popeye & his colleague 30 miles to their course (reclaimable mileage :D) and then met sis who works in that town, she'd taken some time off so we were able to mooch around the shops and she bought me coffee. (Isn't Costa Coffee EXPENSIVE? :rotfl:)
    • Bought cards for up-coming birthdays and some wool, but otherwise a LSD despite all the temptations - I think I've really lost the shopping habit, just need to break the on-line shopping habit :rotfl:)
    • Also bought reduced price Sushi in Waitrose for DD & me
    • Arranged for Sis & B-i-L to pick me up on Saturday rather than take 2 cars to parents :D
    • returned some M&S purchases. And tomorrow I'll take my M&S voucher from my birthday, and a couple of old M&S charity shop items to M&S for a free £5 voucher and see what I can buy. (I saw their promotion while there.....)
    • contact the DVLA about the car we bought on ebay. Seller hasn't notified them that he's sold it  they want to charge £25 to register it in our name :mad: and we can't tax it until it is in our name so we've had to SORN it :mad::mad:
Have a great rest of the day everybody :A

    Happy birthday to Determined's DS.

    For me today:

Very early start as I had to go to a meeting for work - 6.32 train

Managed to get home just after 5 though :D

    Seen to dogs and chooks

Watered tomatoes and other things in greenhouse

Picked tomatoes, runner beans, raspberries and the few apples off the pathetic little tree that we found dumped bare rooted and dried up when we moved here a few years ago. We felt sorry for it and planted it - and it has rewarded us with a few apples each year since. It still looks at death's door though!

    Cooked cauliflower/macaroni cheese for supper

Off to bed in a minute - shattered!
