csa question

my ex wants to pay for our daughter who is 1, im currently on benefits and i wondered if he is able to pay me direct the csa are already involved but we would both rather do it between ourselves, do i also need to inform income support that is is paying me money, thanks

    leanne when on IS you are allowed to keep £10 maintenace on top of your benefits, if you take money of your ex then your IS will be reduced accordingly so you wont benefit being paid direct, but you must inform them straight away if you take money of him :)
