That is a very good spot. These books go for about £2-3 each on ebay.
    >wince< I gave a large number of ORT books to one of our local charity shops earlier this year. Oh well, at least it was to a good cause. I bought ours for my lads as their school used those awful billy blue hat books. None of those ORT titles on Book People sound familiar though - so presumably they've added to the series since it's early days?

  • I got these at a Bookpeople Event where I work, and both my kids love them. DD is 7 and reads the more advanced books and DS is 5 and likes the first reader level books.

    Hi all
recd my order late yesterday - but looked thru all the books today and 2 of them are damaged. One book is all ripped - big chunks missing from some of the pages - and the other one is double-printed and therefore unreadable without giving yourself a headache!!

Just phoned the Book People and said 2 are damaged and they said they will have to send out a complete new set- they cant just send me 2 replacements - and will arrange to collect the other ones.
Just a word of warning really to anyone who is buying them to put aside or for a pressie to check all the books when they arrive - I know they are cheap anyway but hope this helps

It will always be impossible to please everybody all of the time but so long as someone is happy with me somewhere at some point, my job here is done!
