Cheapest way to hang window in bay window?

Hello all,
I am in a rented terrace house and we have a bay window in the front room. The landlord had put up a curtain on the outside of the window so it encases the bay window but the curtains although heavy leave a gap and it lets in a terrible draft!
I would love to hang the curtains inside the window so i can sit inside the window and minimise a draft but all the bay poles i am finding are over £40!
My landlord won't pay because fixtures arn't included and he says there is a curtain pole already there..
so what are everyones suggestions?
Many thanks x

Can't you get a flexible pole? Something like this:

That says it is for blinds..we didnt want to have to buy blinds..the curtains we have have big holes (marks and sepncers) very heavy duty so would like to keep them if we can.
Thanks anyway xNeed a new start..wheres good to live in the UK?!0 -
I had the same issue as I like heavy lined (MS!) curtains. I eventually gave up on the idea of a pole and put up a flexible track-thinks it's by Swish0
