Sorry to hear you've had a tough evening. It might be worth phoning motability in the morning and asking them if they can give any advice re the car. At least then this incident is on your file and they are aware of it if anyone does try and clamp the car. I don't know if there is anything further that they can do, but they are a lovely company and might be able to give some advice.
If you drive and can move the car away from your premises to somewhere safe then that might be worth it in the short term for peace of mind. If you can then bring it back to pick up your husband when he needs it there shouldn't be a problem with him walking to it - remember that you must be insured through motability though - 3rd party from another insurer doesn't count.
