Has anyone used their Tesco points for holidays? If so were there any problems?

Hi there
YES - for the last few years. We have done three holidays with Cresta France, one ferry trip to France, (Paid for in total by Tesco - thanks!) and heavily subsidised Florida via Premier Holidays, currently got St Lucia booked through Tradewinds.
The problems are that you often don't qualify for early booking discount, and you have to have the vouchers prior to actually booking, as they ave to get them within 3 days of the booking.
No other problems - I don't intend to pay full price for a holiday again if I can help it....!

We are going to Lanzarote next Easter c/o Tesco Clubcard. WE booked with cosmos - no problems at all - and even got an early booking discount. The fare you pay is the fare on the internet site (minus the online booking discount). XL holidays are now part of the scheme and they seem to be a little cheaper than cosmos in the comparisons I have made.0

can you book direct with cosmos over the phone and then send them the clubcard vouchers or do you have to go to a travel agents to book?0

I went to Paris with Cresta - they gave me a 1st class upgrade for Eurostar and a free night in the hotel - it was a real bargain, and I'm currently saving clubpoints for another holiday.0

yes you book direct over the phone and tell them you have vouchers. then send them to them. YOu have to pay the deposit of around £100 each on a credit card if you are not paying for all the holiday with CC points.0 -

We have had 3 holidays in Switzerland using clubcard points. We booked with Bridge Travel and the service was excellent. Sadly they are withdrawing from the scheme next month.0
