Hi
Does anyone know of a good way to kill the suds in the sink after washing up, without wasting loads of water rinsing them away???
Ive tried sprinkling salt, and oil, and neither has worked....
Can anyone help?
thanks

Just rinse the suds away with cold water. Works every time! It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.:kisses3:0

maybe you are using too much washing up liquid if you are getting quite a lot of residual bubbles after the water has drained ?0

Yes, soap breaks the surface tension of the bubbles (remembered from O-level physics!). Just swish the soap in the bubbles.
This is why ,if you have a bubble bath and use soap, you start losing the bubbles.0 -
thanks
bambam- i am rinsing them with cold water at the mo, but i feel awful rinsing all that water down the drain!
BS- after i wash up, i refill the sink with REALLY hot water to soak/rinse the babys bottles etc, and as i only have a normal sink (ie not a double one), i need the sink free of bubbles straight away.
rachie b- i thought that too- i dont think i am though, as theres never that many bubbles when im actually washing up, and the pots dont go all slippery like they do when you put too much in..I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
