Hi
Im currently on a debt management programme with Churchwood but they take a fee out of the monies i pay them each month. I was wondering how easy it is to change to a company like CCCS who do not take fees and how quickly I could do this? Has anyone done this before and can you advise how I do this?
I am paying my dads bills as well as my own and I am finding it very diffcult coping with everything. I have asked my family for help but because I care for my dad they think they do not have to. Its seriously getting me down. My dad has an account with CCCS already which I pay for him monthly.
Thanks so much for your time and help.

It's easy - you can cancel your current DMP (they may ask for a period of notice) and then set a new one up with CCCS or whoever you choose - you can't transfer a DMP as such but cancel the existing one and then set a new one up. The new company will want to go through your figures with you for example.:A0

Good advice above.
Its usually 1 months notice to terminate but do check your t & c's just to make sure.0 -

But will I have to wait another month to set up the CCCS one or would they do that the following month straight away after looking at my figures and everything.0 -
I don't think there is anything to stop you sorting things out with CCCS (or other free DMP) now and explaining to them that you are on a plan with a fee paying DMP.
That way you will have everything set up so it can start once you cancel the other one.0 -
