I was looking into this; but was wondering if there's much info or anyone experience using the product. I cant find any info about prices etc. for it either - all i can see is articles saying how good it is, but nothing stating how to go about getting it.
Thanks
Short-sighted people can now get 20/20 vision with a revolutionary contact lens which corrects their eyesight while they sleep.

As I remember there are only a few clinics that do it (London,Manchester and Chester if I remember I think Jonathon Bryant ?? were one opticians), it is not permanent... the effects only last 12 ish hours as I remember so the lenses have to be worn every night and it doesn't correct all problems (I think astigmatism was one it didn't if anything more than mild).
I looked into it for my child (some evidence to say might slow up rate of myopia in a teenager) but decided the faff (multiple visits and lenses for first few weeks) wasn't worth being able to go without lenses for only so many hours in the day and gradual deterioration at the end of the day. Also not everyone is suitable for treatment.
The price for lenses was about £1000.
Google it to find clinics etc.0 -
20/20 vision is not good, its only the avg
20/10 is what you want, and luckily what I get with my glasses

I used to work in a practice in Leeds that does OrthoK. We did a direct debit scheme, and it was £35 a month which included all aftercare and replacement lenses if they broke - this was the same price as a direct debit for good quality dailies and aftercare. We did have some success stories but not that much interest as I don't think there is much information out there!! Let me know if you live in Leeds or nearby and I;ll provide you with details of the practice!!0
