As it uses percentage it would do. The raw data wouldn't take account of these differences.
Unfortunately I clicked around the National Statistics site but can't find individual figures for London boroughs.
I'm aware that boroughs in Inner London like Hackney have higher unemployment figures than outer London boroughs like Richmond Upon Thames, even though Hackney is nearer to where there are more jobs on the doorstep.
Before the Tory Party conference came up with the cuts the Mayor Of London and others were mentioning that they wanted residents who lived in council houses in Hackney to move West of London to places like Ealing to get a jobs.
This ignores the fact that the reason that unemployment in places like Hackney is higher is due to the aspirations, education, unwillingness to travel across London and language skills of the residents. The more education you have the further you willing to travel to work.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

but anyway - i see it's another one of those questions that you avoid because you don't know the answer and you use your famed chewbacca debating technique
let's try again...can you provide the numbers to tell us how many of these properties there will be - bet you can't and you're making things up again...
tick, tick come on Devon let's see some facts and figures instead of your Daily Mail style posts... come on tick tick...0 -
just because one poster says it's not the case it doesn't mean that you're anywhere remotely intelligent - we all know it's far from the case...

You know that question cannot be answered. It's why you are asking it...as it makes you think you have somehow proven something because I cannot put numbers on my example.0 -

exactly - you made it up to try and be clever...
but... you should really take Hamish's advice
Quite clearly it's not made up.
The government has already stated some are getting over £4000 a month in housing benefits.
So my £3000 example, will be happening, I just don't know exactly how many households will be taking £3,000 in HB payments. I don't need to have a link to a website, to prove it.
You do try hard, I'll give you that.0 -

Amended June 19 2006 - The rate of unemployment in London is 7.6% (January to March) according to the Labour Force Survey. This is almost 1 percentage point higher than the next region, the North East of England which has a rate of 6.7% for the same period. The UK national average for January-March is 5.2%. London's total of 301,000 unemployed is more than the totals for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland combined, more than the entire English Midlands and more than the North West and North East of England combined.
this isnt including the homeless which is obviously hight in the south0 -

is it because you've read about it in the Daily Mail and you think it's widespread?
the more amusing part is that you live on an estate in a small town in Devon, have visited Watford once and you feel you're an expert on London and the London rental market.0 -
thanks olly300
I was playing devils advocate on the fact that there is 16% population of the uk living in london due to employment, yet london has high unemployment, therefore the cuts will have an impact on rents (no?)
I admit i still need to do some reading on this0 -
so you say it happens but can't say the number of properties it applies to because you don't know. so what was your point again?

I really rattled your feathers didn't I
Not sure I ever been to Watford. If I have, I've not stopped, so not sure why your making such a thing up, but, whatever floats your boat.0
