Just heard on the news about the tax mix up where lots of people have not paid enough tax and some people have paid to much. Im waiting for my nil tax code to be set up and wonder how this may effect me.
If I have not paid enough tax for example will they still try to take more from me even if on a nil tax code? If i have paid to much will any rebate go to or?
I hope that my tax has been correct and it does not effct me at all but just wonder how it will effect people on nil tax codes due to br.
Does anyone know.

If it relates to any period prior to yur bankruptcy it wont ecceft you because anything you owe extra will be a debt in the bankruptcy and any rebate would go to the OR anyway. It also wouldnt affect you for the year of your bankruptcy because you wont pay any direct tax during that year because of the NT code.Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
