I currently have a loan with A&L have used the rule of 78 calc and added what I thought was the ERP, but a&l have given me a settlement higher than I could work out.
Can anyone advise on how the a&l work out their settlement figures.
The reason I ask is that I cannot find the T&C i signed upto

If you don't ask, you don't find out!

Did the loan payment start a month or 2 later than your first calculation?
This can sometimes throw the figures out slightly..0 -

you can ask them for a breakdown0

When I paid my loan off in full earlir in the year (2 years early), their figure was about £400 LESS than I thought it would be, so I paid it and didn't query it (for obvious reasons). However if you ring them they will provide you with a breakdown, they were very good when I called.0
