I am sick of constant shaving!! Any ideas on a good exfoliator that you can use wet or dry?

Cheers,
Yes, that is what I meant! i had one of those - wide awake at 3am moments! Thinking I put the wrong word.
Anyone got ideas on the best one around for very tough, ginger hair!!Jane 21120 -
Well, I'm not sure if there are any such offers at the moment but Phillips or Braun (not sure which) had an offer where if you were not happy within 30 days of your purchase you could get a full refund.
I wax, I find waxing easy (all exept my underarm) so the pain idea didnt seem like something that would get to be. However, I cannot do epilation! My legs, maybe but my thighs? no no no! and my underarms? all the hairs still there but loads of blood- it cuts me! I am too chicken to try my bikini!
I have the well loved Braun Silk Elle which I have to say I don't use anymore as I get smoother results and fewer ingrowing hairs from waxing. However, whenever this question was asked on the Health and Beauty boards, there are many people who swear by this model and rate it highly so I guess its a personal choice. Just wish I'd have been able to get my money back!
Tip? get one with a shaver- at least if it doesn't work out you have not totally wasted your money!0 -
If am one of the few people that swear by epilation. I had one of the first ones out, and persevering really does pay dividends. I actually have bald patches on my legs now, and the hairs are softer and less visible. I do not epilate my bikini area, or my thighs, but I do try to do under my arms because I tried it out once and the difference in growth was even more amazing and immediate than on my legs! As for the pain - it starts off quite painful but does improve over time, and you can get the ones that try to lessen the pain with things like vibrating combs that rub the skin ahead of the epilator, or cold blocks that go across the skin first.
To avoid ingrowing hairs I exfoliate (now theres a word!!!) when in the shower.
I only shave now if I am desperately short of time, I don't like the way the hair grows so quick afterwards anymore!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
