Hi all,
I bought a lovely thick white cotton Ralph Lauren bathrobe for the other half a few years ago (...cheap as I knew someone that worked at Harrods
).
Anyways its been in storage for a little while (living in a shared house he couldn't exactly lie around the house in it - but now we've moved into our own place he'd like to wear it around the house).
Problem is it now has some really bad yellow/brown discolourations around the neck on the inside of the robe.
Is there any oldstyle way of removing this?? I've tried washing it with detergent - will a bit of bleach get this out or does it need something else?? Its such a nice bath robe its a shame it has this stain now.
Any help much appreciated

Forgot to add - I think the discolouration may be some sort of reaction with skin oils or something?!Kim Kiminey, Kim Kiminey, Kim Kim Cheroo, I does what I like and I like what I do!0

if there are no colours on the bathrobe, i would soak it in water with bleach added for a few hours, keep checking, once stain has gone, rince and wash in washing machine.0

Hi kimineycricket,
This thread may help:
OS way to brighter whites
Brightening whites (well, greys at the mo)
Grey laundry back to white - I've done it! (pure OS)
Can you do anything with grey clothing
keeping whites white?
I'll add your thread to the first link later to keep the suggestions together.
