Why did I think it was a good idea to walk to pick up DD2 carrying DS3's booster seat plus a bag with his change of clothes for the party and the present. I felt like I'd run a marathon by the time I got there! I didn't help that I was running a little bit late so had to walk fast. Nearly killed me! DD2 and I walked round to drop off the said items then meandered across town to the library to look for the ellusive book "the baby who wouldn't go to bed". No joy again.
I bumped into a DF on the walk home and came away with a date for takeway round her house (she has to pay for babysitters so it makes sense for us to go to theirs). Our respective DH's seem to be going through the same problems at work so that could work quite well and I get to cuddle her 3 month old.
DS2's sheets are drying on the line and THE WASHING PILE IS NO MORE. No doubt Pigpen, Vanilla & Mummyyof5 will identify how rare that is in a many person household.;)
Wanders off with self satisfied smile on face to tackle master bedroom.....0 -

Think I'm going to sort out a major hotspot, and try get the spare room all hoovered and tidy (whilst working around Moon's work bench that he has set up in there
). Will also thoroughly clean the keyboard, as I shall turn off the computer.

Afternoon all
Been and got the food shop this morning, i swear there was very little lift in the house. DS2 away back to school this morning with his missing hair...
Rhys seems a little bit better today so hopefully he'll be over it soon. I did get him a pair of wellies today, he tried them on and tried to walk. I don't think he's impressed. :rotfl:
Need to go on the school run soon then lift hubby as he's sorting some hedges out with FIL.HTT coming at 4 and the house looks great so i just need to stick dinner on when i get back. Then do our room this evening.
Toots thats great news.
I can't remember who lost keys but i'm glad they turned up. Our nail clippers where lost but turned up today under the boys bunk beds, how they got there who knows.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
I'll join you, too, for a whole hour challenge...
Thanks for the continued good wishes: have managed to do the shopping at Sainsbury's and to slip a beef stew in the slow cooker this morning. Now to try a bit of tidying and cleaning in the main bedroom, which is soooooo dusty. Will consult the list and proceed gingerly...

We're back!
Well in the hour I managed to declutter the windowsill in the study of loads of gibble that has been in bags since we moved in 2 years ago! I've also hoovered the spare room from top to bottom, cleaned the keyboard and phone etc with antibac wipes, and hung a load of washing on the line. Have requested a CD tower on freecycle to store my CDs in, as at the moment they are living in a cardboard box on the study floor, and need to get them organised so I can hoover a bit more of the floor. Whilst decluttering the gibble, I found a present that had been given to me when I left uni (3 years ago) that I don't want, but that will be perfect for one of my other friends as a small Xmas pressie (pigpen will be proud! lol).
I hope Moon notices the difference when he gets in. I think he's wishing as much as I am that I get some supply work soon, as every day I ask him if he can see what I've done, and he has to guess! :rotfl: Still, I feel better that if anyone came over (like the parent of my ex-pupil who was brought around by Moon the other day and shown all of the messiest parts of the house), that the house is looking much better. :T Just need to get Moon to sort some of his bits now.
How did everyone else get on?
