That is such an uninformed silly thing to say, not everything comes down to an items price tag.
FYI the calcium deposits are a sign of a better quality cheese that has matured longer than other so called mature cheeses, it is something associated with high end hand made cheeses not the catederial city rubber ones....................

I've never seen crunchy white bits. _pale_ Hope I dont start finding them now you've made me aware of them.

I buy Galloway cheese, nice flavour and texture (imo) and no crunchy white bits.Herman - MP for all!

i find farmfoods cheese horrible personally and i like strong cheese it really turns my stomach even if it is disguised as best as my mum can it is horrible and the white bits are normal !!0
