Im back from putting money into my bank and ive just checked my account and 125.60 has been taken, Thats how much my order comes to, I havent recieved an email yet but when i check paypal it says pending so who knows!

I didn't even bother ordering as it's quite clear in their terms and conditions NOBODY will get the TVs for those prices.

I recieved an order acknowledgement and then I recieved an invoice from another online retailer clearly showing "STATUS DESPATCHED" and the money was taken from my credit card account but they have still cancelled the order/contract.

Thier T&Cs state that no legal contract exists until the goods are despatched. They now say they never despatched the goods. I bet they chased DHL down the road to get them back.

Dont hold our breath on that one, I ordered sunglasses from Tesco and got dispatch note. The cancelled and I argued the case, consumer direct said that they could say it was sent by mistake and didnt have leg stand on as cant force them sell me something at a price. Your only case is argue loss bargain in private court

You have more of a legal standpoint if despatch has been made. Argos had a dsi price glitch at new year, those without dispatch notification got fobbed off, those with despatch notification got the deal.

I was basically stating to the poster who said contract was formed when payment was taken, that it wasnt quite the case, it had to be further along than that.

Essentially we are hoping it slips through the net. It is highly unlikely it would be honored. And if they did it would be one huge Marketing ploy for them. So depending on the numbers might be worth a loss.
