Empire Stores free gift - genuine?

Apologies if this shouldn't be posted here.

I got a brochure from Empire Stores today offering an electrical free gift (choice of 8) with my next order (within 8 days - erm, sort of Quick! Grabbit??) as long as I included a particular gift code (in brochure).

Has anyone else received this? Or even tried the gift code and received the electrical free gift?

I don't know whether to believe such a thing or not! Would the company really give me a dishwasher (one of the 8 on offer) if I ordered a £9.99 T-shirt? There are no T&C included :P

Any comments or thoughts welcomed. Thanks

Got this too, twice in fact and both were the same gift offer.
Its obviously the cheapy hand mixer in silver with finger tip control! worth about £2, put it straight in the recycling paper pile.

Sometimes there is something cheaper in between all the expensive gifts and that might be the one you get. It's to get you ordering. Anyway you can always send what you've ordered back if you didn't really want it. I had something like that last year.

wouldnt touch empire stores again after my experience......ordered £1000 worth of stuff.....strangely most of it was out of stock......but they sent 3 items...which they tried to charge full price for instead of sale price less 30% discount code......

took 2.5 months to get the monet back and only after id reported them to Trading standards.

Just ordered, I entered my code and then pressed enter and it showed me what I was getting. It's a juicer. I wonder if we all got the same codes!!!! Are we allowed to post them on here??????
