Okay the lightbulb has been turned on.
We have being spending alot more than we earn.
We have 3 credit cards, 2 store cards and a few small debts.
I am confused to which one to pay off the first do I start with the smaller ones or the larger debts.
Any advise would be appreciated.

I'm new here myself, but what people normally say is to post a SoA (there's a sticky at the top of the DFW forum) listing all your income & outgoings, debts including aprs etc and then they can help you sort it out.
There's also the snowball calculator, I'm sure someone will post a link, that gives you a debt-free date based on paying off the highest aprs first and making minimum payments on the rest.
Good luck!

Start with a SOA one of the stickys at the top shows you how. Take a deep breath post (only it if you want to) and we will help.

Hi Sassy, welcome to the site
As others have said, the best thing you can do first is to post the SOA. have a look at the sticky post here that explains everything for you.If you post the information that's asked for there are lots of people here who can give great advice on cutting back and clearing debts effectively
As a general rule - start with the debts with the highest aprs first, the snowball calculator mentioned is here

An SOA is definitely the place to start. The more detail we have, the better the advice you can get :T Have a look at the links in peachpickle's post and you'll be away!!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs.
