Quidco is a company that gives you cash back for referring you to its nominated supliers - just happens to be that it has a lot of nominated suppliers and good cash back. I have earned over £200 in 6 months from getting insurance and c/cards via their website that I would have got anyway but by going through Quidco I got cash back too. They used to pay only via Paypal but they pay directly into a bank account now which is much better. You have your own page on their website which shows what payments have tracked ( how much you are getting from going via their website ) it also shows you an approximate date when you will be paid out as it can take a couple of months. You need to register with them and if you are referred to them the person referring will also get cash back for referring you - so if you want me to refer you I would be more than happy to - please PM me. Also please note that £5.00 is taken from your first payout from Quidco for admin but that is the only charge and it is taken from money that you would have had anyway so you dont miss it
Hope that make sense:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -
Hi jules68!
oops a daisy has explained it well! I would say, though, that quidco don't have a referral system so no one can benefit by signing you up, you just need to go to quidco.com and register... which is free :T
The best way to understand how quidco works is to read the information on their site. Have a look at these links for some useful bits:
http://www.quidco.com/about/ for an introduction
http://www.quidco.com/help/18/ for 'where does the money come from?'
http://www.quidco.com/help/20/ for info on the £5 annual admin fee
http://www.quidco.com/help/43/ for info on 'quidco etiquette'
There is also a quidco dicussion thread for questions and things here:

Sorry I am being really dim now. but if you order something you have obviously got p&p so although you earn cashback would it not be just as cheap to go to the shop eg pcworld or does the cashback outway the p&p?0

That depends on how much the cashback/p&p are. Things like cds are a lot cheaper on the likes of cdwow and play.com than they are in the shops - and there is no p&p to pay on those.
PCWorld has an option called 'collect in store' where you can select and order a product online and specify your local store to collect it from - if they have it in stock you can collect it the same day. You would then (I presume) get the quidco cashback without having to pay p&p and without having to wait to get your item :T It can also be a good way to get 'online' prices in store, discounted online prices should be honoured for collect in store. I'm sure Martin has written about this before but I can't find it
