What's the best pension scheme to invest in?

I'm 28, work full time and currently pay around £80 per month into my employers pension, although i may be leaving within the next year or so i would like to stop paying into the company pension and start my own personal pension in which i pay money myself. I'm looking to pay around the same in monthly payments, maybe up to £100 max....
The question is which is the best company to go with (ie. Virgin, Scottish Widows, Prudential, etc;)???
Any advice would be most appreciated

You will not be able to find a financial advisor that will set up a personal pension for you if you cease the occupational scheme. Occupational schemes are better than personal pensions on like to like contributions. This doesnt mean the occupational scheme alone will be enough but you shouldnt replace it with a personal pension.
As for best scheme, it certainly isnt two of those companies you mention. However, there is no one best scheme as the provider would change depending on a range of circumstances.
However, lets not worry about that as it is irrelevent to you.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
