Welcome to MSE, I would definitely recommend that you visit the OS Board - loads of good recipes and tips.
I started budgeting on food by making a list of everything I had in the cupboard, fridge and freezer - you would be amazed at how much you already have and the number of meals you can make by buying some fresh veg.
Good luck.:j0 -
Check out the vouchers for asda etc. I've never done online shopping until today. I've stocked up on loads of store cupboard things, on offer, with asda and used a £10 voucher, so incl delivery I'm paying £39.43 for 79 items and saving over £45.
if you look on the discount vouchers board there are quite a few posted0 -
Hiya I found when I first started on here it took me probably three months to sort everything to a managable budget. The shopping especially was a nightmare I kept going well over but gradually I managed to see why and adapted my tesco 'habits' so don't beat yourself up if you don't get it sorted immediately some things take a little bit longer to tweak
Best of luck to you all
