I've a couple of free days in London (Wed/Thurs) this week.
Are there any markets/car boots that are worth visiting ? I'm interested in 'Portobello Road/Camden Market' type things.
Thanks.

Theres the Bonza Bootsale in Romford on a thursday. I don't know the exact directions to it but someone else on here will. This bootsale is huge and sometimes you can see Boot Sale Challenge being filmed from there.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Try Spitalfields Market on the edge of the city (Liverpool St nearest tube). Like camden but less grotty. Also Petticoat Lane market is really nearby too.0

Try this link from TimeOut, they did a feature last April of all the London markets.

I love Greenwich market - no bargains but good atmosphere and some really good items. Plus if you are coming from centre london you can catch a boat down thames; weather dependant thats great too!0
