    hi,

    I have washed my le crueset in dishwasher BUT I did find it took the sheen off the enamel.

    Mine also went rusty tho... Am afraid i sold them in the end anyway cos my wrists couldnt stand the weight!

    I love my dishwasher tho and sure you will soon see it as -almost- a kitchen essential like I do! lol

    got rid of our dishwasher last year. had dishwashers for 20 years . but prefer to wash up by hand now. got fed up with things not best to put in, the dw wrecked le crueset type stuff, anything with wooden handles, like my good knives, bleached to pattening on mugs, made plastic brittle, clouded glasses.
