Debt Management Plan

Hi
I owe about 16500 on credit cards and 2770 for my buiding charges for where I live - I also owe my parents 3000.
I oay back 600 every month to credit cards and 200 for my building charges. A lot of money. I am penniless within a week of my 1885 pay packet every month. The balance has not changed for 2 years because of interest, more building charges mounting up etc
I have tried the free companies which provide debt management programmes, but because I can manage - just, they cannot help. So I have approached a fee paying company. ThimkMoney.
Any Advice \ personal esperiences welcome....
I am not sure I am doing the right thing. They say 307 pcm over 5 years will make me debt free.
Thanks

Welcome to the board. Firstly, a DMP sounds like a good idea - a fee paying company is not! CCCS or Payplan can do the same thing for free, so all the money you pay goes to your creditors - much better

If you could do us an SOA, fill in this one > http://makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html and we'll see if we can save you any money, try and fill in everythingNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Hi ohnotagain,
Completely agree with Gemmzies comments. I wouldn't entertain a fee charging DMP company as it reduces the amount of cash going to your debts. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
