I allow myself £100 per month but this sometimes doesn't make it so I need some motivation. It is supposed to cover gifts, entertainment, mad money, clothes and toiletries. Petrol, bills and food come out of a different pot and I never seem to have as much trouble sticking to that.
I have a silly question - if it runs from Sunday to Friday - what happens about Saturday?
Could I join in and be put down for £21 for the week please
Welcome I have added you to the list. Usually we have Saturdays off but if you are very good you can do the whole week. We are very flexible you choose what works best for you.
Spends for me today was only £2.60 on a coffee aferwork. Everything else came out of the grocery budget.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Thank you pointypenguin for the answer. I am not sure I can be trusted with a loophole so I am going to try for the whole week Saturday as well.
Today I spent £19 of my £21. Not very much left is there?!!
£5 was for sponsoring a work colleague for a good cause and £14 for sponsoring my husband for running a half marathon. We luckily are not socialising this weekend - so hopefully I can still stay on target.Grocery Challenge £114.22/ £1100 -
Today I spent a few quid on coffees and a toasted currant teacake!! I have £14.15 left. So £5.85 spent.
Welcome to new people

Spends this week are £1.45 on a drink on the train back from liverpool, 3.98 on shampoo and conditioner (massive bottles of what seem to be cheap version of tresemme, half price) and 3.48 on foot stuff. 99p remaining. Can I do it?!0

I spent a grand total of 50p today! It was a top up payment for my knitting group. Tommorrow should be no spend as I am working late late.

I have overspent... I went to Slimming World and bought a magazine and some chocolate things they sell. Just realised not only have i gone over budget, I've broken my 8month streak of not buying magazines!0 -

ah but your target was less. So you have probably still spent less than me if it makes you feel better. 8 months without magazines is amazing!psychopathbabble wrote: »I have overspent... Very true but I've messed up my strict budget for the rest of the month so I've had to adjust. No more unplanned spending!
Luckily I get lots left at work so I can still get my 'fix'
