Options
I am looking for a nintendo SP. Please can anyone tell me where I can get one at a good price and is their any discout codes about. We bought my daughter the Nintendogs Pink DS for xmas but she is only 5 and I was looking at the games and refuse to pay £30-£40 for games for it so think I will take it back and get the SP.

I don't know where you are shopping but almost All Nintendo DS games at Amazon & Play etc are under £25 including new releases and on the High Street the games shouldn't be more than £29.99 each.

If the games don't have to be new releases there are plenty of cheap DS games between £10 & £20 (sometimes less). Also if the games don't have to be Brand New, gamestation and Game (although game are usually expensive) sell pre-owned games. There is of cause eBay but you have to be careful as the majority of Game Boy and DS games on EBay are fake and/or imports.

In regards with the GBA SP, you have probably missed the £27 & £33 ones at Boots (instore) but personally I'd keep the DS as they are more fun and user friendly for younger children than the SP's are.
  • The DS has a slot for GBA SP games in the front.

Buy GBA games and play them on the DS.

Go to https://www.movietyme.com and all DS & GBA games are less than £20.

    Im with gribs.

You can pick up GBA cheap enough, and play them on the DS. However, they do lose the dual screen compatibility.

DS games go as low as £7.99, although most are £19.99/£29.99 unless you go preowned.

I suggest you look at the DS and SPs from CostPrice4u. They are a reliable company and I have bought quite a few things from them. They also have a shop in ebay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CostPrice4u. I see that they sell SP and DSes at pretty good prices. They even stock the Gameboy Blues.

Their postage is a bit expensive (£6 for a GBA, £10 for a DS). Some ebay sellers do this to avoid paying higher fees and to make their products look cheaper than they actually are...

Please put WANTED in the title or something similar to let readers know you are asking for a deal, not posting one.
  • That seems a bit expensive, not sure where you've been looking for games! ;) Both the DS and SP games are roughly the same amount and you can also play SP games on DS handhelds too.
