how long before CSA get in contact

Recently my partner started work and we have put aside some money each week for CSA, contacted them and sent wage slips and work, family income info as required.

They sent back the wage slips after a few days with no covering letter at all, but we have had no contact at all since.

Do they usually take this long to make a decision? we are still putting the money by each week as that is all we can do at the mo.

I always presumed the CSA were pretty swift in telling you how much you owed and what the weekly payments would be.

Good on you for putting money away instead of racking up an arrears bill.

I think i read somewhere it is within 12 weeks . Mines took 2 1/2 years

Can you clarify is this your current partner or ex partner that you supplied wage slips for .

  • Supplied wage slips for my current partner. He doesnt really have much verbal contact with PWC to find out if she has heard anything her end. We will just keep putting the money by until we hear something, all we can do really!
