    So today I have/will:
    • change my old light bulbs for new economy ones for free as there is a promotion at a local shopping centre :money: they weren't there today!!!!
un-vacation my Amazon listings - done
    • write an extensive note for the maid, giving her some Spring cleaning tasks, rather than giving her time off - doesn't save any money at all, but means that she and her family will eat this month
    • PACK - including the Christmas presents I've knitted :D
    • remind DS2 to bring the luncheon vouchers I've saved to the airport, as we're going on from there and we'll take the kids out for lunch tomorrow :pdone
    • 30 mins on the CT :Ddone
    • PACK - have I said that already........? :o

have a great day everybody :A I'm almost on my way :D

I've put things out on the bed but haven't actually packed anything.....:rotfl:
We're eating the contents of the fridge :D Shame that I had to put a bottle of wine INTO the fridge too :rotfl: It's going to be a very gentle afternoon :D:beer:
  • Hi all

Sorry I haven't been around so much the past week have been back at work after my lovely time off and I'm coming home knackered!

So my DFW things for today:-
    • Change bed linen
    • Do all 4 lots of washing as haven't done any in the week :o
    • [STRIKE]Go to Post Office [/STRIKE] All done
    • [STRIKE]Go and buy new cat food[/STRIKE] Seems that little Lola has a delicate stomach. So baby Ruby will have the same!
    • [STRIKE]Feed cats & give fresh water[/STRIKE] All done, now they are on dry food they seem to drink gallons!
    • [STRIKE]Write letter to Capital One asking them to close my account :T[/STRIKE] Posted! Feels great to finally send it and get my account closed.
    • [STRIKE]Check spare bank account for Paypal/ EBay funds[/STRIKE] Everything paid in :)
    • Start on my hospital bag
God, its been a busy week. My two cats, Lola and Ruby have both been at the vets which means yet more money (well the OH's money) being paid out but can't have them uncomfortable and not vaccinated. Lola has to go back Monday as she still isn't well :(

Having my 4D scans tomorrow so can't wait to see my little girl a bit more clearly!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far x

    Today, I:
-went for an appoitment with my new customer
    -cleaned my lounge
    -hoovered
    -washed
    -ironed
    -cooked a tea, shepherd's pie
    -went for little shopping
-went to friendof mine's house, lovely girly evening:)
  • I didn't get chance to post yesterday as it was a fairly manic day. I went up to the hospital early in the morning to see if my contrat is still open. Unfortunately not, and they're not taking on any new staff. No extra work for me there then. :(
I'll have to do the rounds of the supermarkets next week and see if there is the possibility of weekend work.

The rest of yesterday was spent ripping out hedges in DD's garden. We have "rescued" around five feet of garden that was burried under hedges and trees.

    My list for today then:
    • feed, water and clean out chickens in exchange for some eggies
    • hang HC outside (but it looks a bit grey at the moment)
    • get down to allotment to harvest the potatoes and plant swedes
    • blanch and freeze carrots
    • pick more blackberries and elderberries if the other villagers haven't got there first :o
Not a great deal on the list today so I'm hoping to find time to do something from my 101 things list too :)
