Can you freeze risotto?

I've done it I just make sure I reheat it super super hot and eat straight away.
It's not as nice though, the texture goes a bit funny
but it's perfectly edible. 0 -
I also freeze risotto all the time, I let it cool down before putting it in the freezer and when it comes to reheating it, I make sure that it is piping hot. Never had a problem and not died yet.0

Yes - the eldest loves risotto for a late night snack - so I make a big batch , cool quickly and freeze in a silicon muffin tin, pop them out and store in a freezer bag.
He can microwave one or two of these at a time depending on how hungry he is .. and of course it fills a teen without emptying my purse.
It needs a good stir once reheated and sometimes a splash of boiling water to slacken it again and bring it to the right consistency.
