I just phoned my local store and they are opening at the normal time of 8am, I don't think he would have said it to fob me off, well I hope not anyway :D

I've got what I want ready in my basket, not sure if that will make any difference though!

I am a bit worried about ordering and paying for stuff on line. Would it let me go through the process of buying them, me thinking I have them, but then getting an email the next day saying that the stock ran out :( Does this happen? I've never shopped online with sainsburys before.

I've got a set budget and don't know whether to risk the stores or not..... they had quite a few buzz ans woody sets in, but can imagine them being the first things to go!

hmmm, would it be completely shamefull to run to the toy isles when they open the doors :rotfl: I can imagine the staff having a right old giggle at the crazy mums and dads running to the toy section! Maybe just a fast walk? :o

I told my boyfriend earlier that I will be legging it in when they open the doors, I don't care who laughs :rotfl:

Sainsburys take/reserve the funds as soon as you checkout and submit the order for direct orders.

They are quick to refund on their part if there is an error, HOWEVER lets not forget they are going to be busy, so it may take a few days to cotton on and it does take a few days to hit back into your bank.

That's for those wondering how they take the money, so if there is a must have you may want to make sure you have the funds twice ifyswim if you want to try stores.
  • Hi all, im new to this site but have following these posts since Monday, when I stumbled across the site looking for "when the Sainsburys sale was starting".

Im glad to know that I am NOT the only nutter who loves a bargain. I am now sooo excited at thought of this that I can't contain myself :j. I am now in utter turmoil "do I stay up and get it online", "do I get up early and order online", "shall I go direct to store in the morning".

Have been to my local store and they didn't have anything that I wanted - Baby Annabell and Halo stuff but last year they did have Baby Annabell in store. I am so confused my head has turned to mush!!! ITS ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT :D

If you buying online I wouldn't leave it till morning it'll probably all be out of stock ... Personally I'm planning to stay up til one trying to get it all online then going in store to see what they have (last year store had different toys than online and they had different toys each day ... Inclidng zhu zhu / go go pets for a fiver)
