sainsburys half price toy sale?when is it?

Yes last year it changed at midnight.

The site did crash from 2:20am until 4:17am. Random info there for you!

This year there will be much, much more traffic to their site though, so i expect an earlier crash that that.

i really hope it alll goes half price i have 72 items in my basket half is my sisters ,iv got a kitchen a scooter ,but some things r out of stock 1 min then next min there in stock confused ,if i dnt get them ill be in store at opening times lol

On the posts from last year people were saying the sale started at a minute past 12. If I have to sit up half the night I'll be tearing my hair out - just like that skeletal Boots woman I had to stare at for 6 hours for that hatbox thingy. PJs, blanket and clean teeth while I sit here tomorrow waiting then. It's not even my shopping either. My Grandma can't get out and has given me money to do hers so I hope I get a cup of tea and a cuddle for it.

72 items!! :eek: How much does that come to?!!

Someone said earlier that they're cancelling huge orders in case of resellers so be careful

some of my item in my basket say a 3rd off do i take it that this will go to full price and then be half that full price?

glad its not tonight Barclays have blocked my card all because the foreign guy on phone couldnt understand me so thinks I failed security now ive to travel 2 hrs with toddler and 33 weeks preg to a branch with ID

Help advice please, have just checked my basket and one toy out of all in basket has suddenly had a price drop, it is now 40% cheaper than it was last night, the reduction does not look like a Sale price as such. So should I empty rest of basket and purchase this for click and collect now ? or should I simply wait until the proper rollover tonight/tomorrow and hope it does not go OOS due to its good price ?

Actually just looked again and this item does not have click and collect option for me so guess will just have to wait until Sale proper starts. It is the Lego Minotaurus Game and last pm it was in basket at £16.99 this morning it is £10.10 so about 40% off, I wonder if Sainsbury's tested system early this morning and this item is a glitch ? It might be worth if anyone actually in a Sainsburys and want this item to have it scanned to see if it is also at lower price, I worked it out to be about a 40 % saving, still significantly cheaper than anywhere else.

not sure if i am just lucky but everything that had gone oos from my basket seems to be back in stock now, thought it was worth a mention so people can have a look at their own oos toys:)
