Hardly much at all in Middlesbrough looks like not restocked for a while, had play kitchens, play scanner tills, few zing zillas few fireman sam things and bitty things really nothing to get excited about, was disappointed and only in the toy aisle now too .

Thank you saves me a trip this afternoon ;)

Plymouth store this morning didn't have any new stock in :( Has anyone seen the LEGO Star Wars Hoth Wampa Cave set in the South West - they seem to be everywhere but here.

There was some on Thursday at Plymouth Marsh Mills. There weren't many, and I manage to get one but I haven't been back to a Plymouth store since then. Sorry I can't help more.

Thanks everyone! After completing my first course I'm back into comping in a big way. I missed the fun!
  • I also called into Middlesbrough this morning just on the off-chance and they seemed to be making the toy section smaller in favour of christmas wrap, cards eytc so obviously not getting much more in. Didn't have much luck at Team Valley yesterday either - bare shelves and stuff just getting bunched up.

Never mind - my children have enough as it is :)

  • Sainsburys Woksop picked a great week to do a refurb of their home/clothing/entertainment/toy department. I went early Saturday morning very little left, went this morning and even less now that there is no space for it.

Now living on the other side of the Pennines
  • Does anyone know if the tardis playset or the set of 11 Doctor Who figures are in any store? I've been to Chelmsford and Rayleigh, but no luck!
  • I went back to the Sainsbury's at Lyons farm (Worthing Sussex) this lunchtime and the stock consisted mainly of

    Peppa pig
    Wooden dolls house
    RC Landrover
a couple of the Toy Story playsets
    Monopoly game
    Chuggington Giftsets
    20Q game
    Postman Pat set
    Taboo game
    Mega blocks
    Littlest Pet Shop stuff
    Zingzillas

Looked like they were making room for the christmas gift wrap

  • Popped into my local sainsburys earlier and overheard store manager saying how he was disappointed lack of toys being delivered. Apparently demand was far higher than last year, but they were getting 1 cage a day of toys if that.
Hes hoping for more deliveries but as with most other stores i guess, he doesnt know what toys will be delivered.
However i was told that deliveries are made at 9am and 4pm so guess where im gonna be around those times lol

Whoever is in charge of buying must be really stupid! Of course demand is higher, they did not have the sale online so forcing everyone instore so of course they are going to need more than last year instore...........think they need a new strategist!
