  • I have been searching and phoning up the Harlow store (Essex) too see if they have any "Talking Woodys" in stock...unfortunately there isnt!!! Just wondering if anyone knows of any near the Harlow area??

Been looking since Thursday, went food shopping and was fortunate enough too get the jet pack buzz (after bugging the staff ALOT) so if anyone knows of anywhere please let me know as my son is absolutely mad on Toy Story. Its 40Pound anywhere else but in sainsburys is 17.54!!!! x
  • Anyone seen the babrie fairytale glitterizer wardrobe in the Glasgow area? Trying to get one as a christmas present for my friends little girl, Thanks
  • I nipped into my local sainsburys yesterday (well i say local its actually ages away but its the closest one!) and they had almost no toys left at all, I spoke to the man handling the toy department and he said he was actually in a panic about it because all he had was what he had and that was mostly iron man stuff and girls toys and his local warehouse that dispatches the toys was completely empty and he couldnt get any more toys!
I only went in on the off chance they had some toy story bits left but according to the manager - getting a any sort of toy story toy from my sainsburys before december would be a 'miracle'
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona

went to Sainsburys Bamber Bridge store, very poor selection. though they did have lots of Buzz's, some thomas stuff and generic cars rather than the hot wheels stuff. It was mainly halloween stuff. but after tonight who knows.

    I got 1 x bakugan for 2.49.

had to go to rayleigh branch again today, girls wanted some pumpkins..... i cant believe so many people go food shopping on sunday, it was manic, did get to the toy isle again and to say it was busy was understatement.... i did notice they had lots of screature toys out though and lots of poly pocket things, still no jessie or the cool cardz things that my daughters want.....
Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!

I tried Shrewsbury today. One Screature, no lego, Thomas hornby set (£69.99), Tech Deck stuff, Guess with Jess, Star Wars clone pack, small Sylvanian windmill and very little else. Well loads of stuff no one seemed interested in. I bought nothing and was really disappointed. I'm tring Telford again in the morning but I'm sure now that the windmill in there was the big one and there were loads on Friday.
  • I missed last year's with style and was determined to be like many of us fingers poised on our virtual baskets til the hands on the clock slowly passed midnight - and then it wasn't online.

Every day I have gone into my local sainsburys the human locusts have been in, devastation down the toy aisle. I have tried morning, midday and evening. The staff say people were queuing outside waiting for the store to open

So, I have given up the fight! Haven't got the energy anymore. My daughter's much desired all singing all dancing buzz lightyear ain't gonna happen! well not at a wonderful "mummy happy" price.

    maybe next year (slopes off)
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x
