I went to cheshire oaks this morning. Got a few bits for my eldest, not everything i wanted, no hm armed forces stuff in sight but he saw the wwe wrestling ring that he has been asking for so he's getting that instead. I managed to get the furreal dalmation i wanted for my daughter, and the pink vtech book i wanted for my youngest daughter.. couldnt find these anywhere and one of the sales assistants had one to put out so i was very pleased i got this :j Got a nerf gun for my son too, so he's pleased. I want some wrestling figures for this ring but they had none out so i will pop back probably on tuesday and see what they have left. Got some other bits too for my youngest.

Cheshire oaks had loads of lego things out (they were re stocking whilst we were there aorund 9am) but they had no toy story things atall.

Hi didthey have any Lego city firestations or similar
    Thanks

i love MSE and saving money just as much as the next person, but i logged off yesterday in disappointment as for some reason i was singled out as being greedy and 'wanting things for nothing' because in the midst off all the conversations yesterday (and helping other MSE's) i agreed with a post that not everyone had been so lucky to get what they wanted and the only thing i wanted was some board games and unfortunatley i was unlucky...but ill keep looking :)

please don't be so hard on other Mse's for a simple comment about their own disappointment in not being so lucky among all the happy purchases.

Yes it is a fantastic sale and Yes people are getting some amazing bargains and i wish the other big stores would do the same, just goes to show how much profit there are in these items.
Saying Thank You doesn't cost anything
  • Lovelife1982 - Hope you get some of the stuff you want in Oldham then.. good luck, seems to be quite a lot of stuff still coming out onto the shop floors. How annoying was it they didn't just put it online for us all. So much easier and Sainsburys would have got sooo much money.

    I'm still chasing Woody!!

Hi babe i will have a look for woody for you which one do you need?hope they have some stuff what i would like and no one will be pushing me or filling their trolleys up with alot of stuff i would like as i will say something..x

Sweet dont let ppl get you down and just ignore them..( over your head) if they want to upset people over a board game they are sad..

That's rubbish. I'm planning to keep popping back in to see if some things I'm after come in. I hope you get lucky with your board games :-)

In the meantime feel free to laugh at my stupidity.

I was at a shop before 7 this morning so very tired. Couldn't find anything I wanted, did some food shopping and then left my card at the till. Definietly a toy bargain fail!
