sainsburys half price toy sale?when is it?

Good morning.

What a rubbish night, stayed up until 1am none of my stuff went to half price so I am off to the store in about 15 mins. I wish I could say I am excited but my tiredness will not allow it 2 nights on the trot I've stayed up, night before till 4.30am getting loads from the ASOS code. And now last night but at least I got stuff the night before. Oh well! THere are things instore that they didn't have online that I wanted anyway. I'm hoping no one is there this morning, it's cold, wet and miserable out there, everyone should be tucked up in bed!!!

Up and going out in 10 minutes, I do question my sanity! I hope it's not manic, as I'm not prepared to fight for toys, they are just toys after all. The things we do for our kids.....

Well we are up and ready to go to store, doesnt open till 8am but with the rumours of being open early we will be camping outside from 7am.

if anything like last year, my store only had a few die hard shoppers when it opened at 7am

however, none of the SELs had been changed overnight, and staff were only just starting to bring out the 'specials' at 8am

so it was a case of just buying the stuff, and hoping it was half price once you hit the tills.

also last year they had a whole aisle that was devoted to toys, but this year, that has been cleared out already and there is halloween and christmas stuff on the shelves, so im wondering if they wont have so many specials

well the baby is staying put for now so i'm off to the alton sainsburys to hopefully bag some bargins and if they haven't got the toys i want i shall cry ... i've got to take my six year old and two year old with me ... what excuses are you lot using on your kids ? is santa not very well and has asked you to get the pressies for example ?
