Proof for S/E Mortgage - Advice please

I am self employed, as a Health , Safety and Training Consultant. I only provide a service, fo which I invoice. My only expenses are mileage related so my accounts are very simple, no goods or anything. Because of this I do my own accounts and submit an online self assessment. What would a mortgage lender need to see? Would it be ok to submit my accounts to a chartered accountant for them to 'rubber stamp' them? Thanks!

How many years accounts do you have?
You could try to get an accountant to provide a reference for you but it may be easier to use the SA302 forms you will have receieved each year from the Inland Revenue. Most lenders would acceot this as proof.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. There are lenders who will use less than 3 years. Best thing is to see a 'Whole of Market' broker.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
